A new approach or method for teaching Latin grammar is necessary so that an adult who already knows the grammar of a vernacular language could start to read and write modern Neo-Latin in one month.

"The rejection of the modern use of Latin (the Neo-Latin) that usually takes place in academies and university chairs, can be explained by excess and sometimes disregard of some neo-Latinists who often use the language of Lazio to ends openly banal and However, a well understood utilization of current Latin should become an ideal tool to better understand the syntax of the first century BC and onwards, which is not different from the present Latin, as long as the neo-Latinist is aware of it and so the neo-Latin texts read will usually serve to master syntax and to enter into the exciting world of literature and ancient history, which should help to preserve the cultural identity of Europe today [...] The neo-Latin is not different from the Latin of Cicero, except for the obvious and indispensable innovations of vocabulary. This does not mean ignoring the Latin culture, but on the contrary, it creates a possibility of going deeper into it.
In fact, the norm for writing in neo-Latin is that whoever reads it, can, with the same language, also understand the classics of antiquity. It's about the same syntax, t he vocabulary will be partly - and only partly - different. Refusing to write texts in Neolatin means teaching a language halfway: Only serves to read, but not to write. Already in the Spain of Unamuno it was said that Latin was only learned to teach it to others.Latin is thus transformed into an almost archeological tool, certainly interesting, but devoid of the strength and vigor that it can have a historical and surviving language, which has crossed the timeline in the west since, at least mid-fifth century BC If we consider the Lex XII Tabularum as an undisputed starting point of the written testimony of the language of Lazio.
Latin and neo-Latin differ, in the first place, in which the latter must partly use a non-existent vocabulary in classical Latin or past centuries. Obviously, today, we use terms corresponding to previously unknown objects: automobile (autocinetum), television (television), viewer (television), television (television, telehorasis).NT are easy to adapt some terms that do not exactly correspond to a specific object but to an activity, process or circumstance: caricaturist (gryllographus), French Revolution (Eversio Gallica), city traffic (transitus viarum) .Correlatively, part of the Latin vocabulary of Antiquity lacks application today: vestiplicus (slave in charge of arranging the toga of the Roman citizen), crocota (tunic worn by the ladies and priests of Cibeles), triclinium (dining room, very different from used among us), suovetaurilia ( religious rite in which certain animals were sacrificed). It is not necessary to elaborate on examples. [...] "Pablo Kansinger G.

Of method, the fruitful and light fiat Latin language institute.

A new approach to teaching Latin grammar is necessary so that an adult who already knows the grammar of a vernacular language could start to read and write modern Neo-Latin in one month.

Guido Angelino scripsit: "Tale is our neolatine, its alliance with its fundamental grammatical legacy and its syntax of the language of Rome and its dotted structure." Ego enim para habeo linguam Latinam owns that optimum and liquidum instrumentum communicationis inter omnes various documents in the Europae mode, sed etiam exterarum nationum. sed sit colloquialis and cartesian, id precedes dispositione recta and subitanea intelligibilitate Debet enim sequi morem saeculi vicesimi; which is saeculum evidentiae and velocitatis, saeculum quod hoc so many postulated scribentibus and loquentibus ut synthetic and penitus intelligibilities."Ioannes Caramuelis Lokowitz, apud methodum PRIMUS CALAMUS ad oddandum language latinam mense, scripsit:" Thu Latinum septem potuisti language doceri iam illud discussions mense pots.

A new approach to teaching Latin grammar is needed so that an adult who already knows the grammar of a vernacular language can begin reading and writing modern neolatim in a month.

A new appraisal of the Latin grammar design is needed for anyone to join the grammar of a vernacular language that could commence to the lire and screen of the modern neo-Latin in a few.
Ein neuer Ansatz zum Unterrichten der lateinischen Grammatik ist erforderlich, damit ein Erwachsener, die Grammatik der Landessprache bereits kennt, Innerhalb eines Monats with a Lesen and Schreiben des Modernen Neulateins beginnen kann.

Guido Angelino finds it feasible to propose as a vehicular common language of Europe a colloquial Latin language, a common Latin language, of linear structure, without inversions or labyrinths, far from the prodigy of architecture and elegance of the classical authors, yet respecting and following the laws of grammar and latin syntax. This species of Latin is called Latin Utility by Jean Bayet.

Guido Angelino thinks it is feasible to propose as a common European vehicular language a Latin colloquial language, a common Latin language, with a linear structure, without inversions or labyrinths, far from the prodigy of architecture and elegance of the classical authors, yet respecting and following the laws of grammar and Latin syntax. With the help of Europe as a foundation for a common language, 'L'Idea Liberale', Organo del Centro Studi dell'Idea Liberale - Milano. NS - Fasc. III - Nov. Dic. 1988: "Sermo Latinus colloquialis eats a common European language"

"Colloquial Latin as a common European language. Today, when one speaks of Latin, one runs with the thought to that prodigy of architecture and elegance which is the Latin of the greatest prose writers, of those authentic strategists of the language of Rome, such as Cicero, Caesar, Livy, Tacitus, Latin solemn, often arduous and labyrinthine It is only natural that those who think of such a Latin, ask with an amused smile as one can think of Latin as a common language, as a vehicular language among But if one thinks of a Latin of linear structure, unaware of inversions and elegances, Latin who does not propose to stubbornly put verbs at the end of the period, a technique already played by Seneca, Latin as a common European language begins to appear viable "

Oggi, when he is Latin, he is thinking about his prodigy of architeture and his elegance with his Latin prosatori, and his authentic authentication of the language of Rome, as Cicerone, Cesare, Livio, Tacito, Solemn Latino, arduous person. and labyrinthine. It is natural for me to think like a Latin, if you have a smile with a funny smile if you can think about Latin with a common language, like a European language. But if you think of a Latin of the linear structure, ignoring the inversion and the elegant, Latin without its proponent of the caparbiarly and the end of the period, the technique of which has the same gioco Seneca (Quid de ila [compositione] loquar , in which differuntur et diu exspectata vix ad clausulam veniunt? [Ep. 114, 16] .Latin invents strictly follow the grammar of the grammar and the Latin syntax, and the language of a sermon Latinus colloquialis with the European Community commensurate with the practical apparition End of quotation.www.latinitatis.com/latinitas/textus/angelino.htm

The above quotation allows us to redefine and specify the scope of the exercise we call Utilitarian Latin, the denomination we borrow from Jean Bayet, who used it in Les langues Internationales, Collection What Sais-Je? , number 968. It is a matter of adopting to be Latinus colloquialis as a common academic and international language, a language that strictly follows the laws of grammar and Latin syntax, but a Latin of linear structure, ignorant of inversions and elegance, which does not exile the verbs to the confines of the periods and phrases, a technique already dealt with by writers of the size of a Seneca, who asks: quid of illa compositione loquar, in which differuntur money and expectation vix ad clausulam veniunt? Ep. 114, 16 (reported by Guido Angelini).

The above quote allows us to redefine and specify the scope of the exercise that we call UTILITY LATIM, on loan from JEAN BAYET, in Les langues Internationales, Collection What Sais-Je? , number 968. It is a matter of adopting a Latinus colloquialis sermon as a common academic and international language, a language that strictly follows the laws of Latin grammar and syntax, but a Latin of linear structure, ignoring inversions and elegance, which does not exile verbs to the ends of sentences and phrases, a technique already treated with derision by writers of the size of a Seneca [Quid of ila compositione loquar, in which differuntur and diu expectata vix ad clausulam veniunt? Ep.114, 16], as reported by GUIDO ANGELINI.In our online bibliography we have placed books whose authors have sought to reduce the study of Latin to a few lessons,

The Hamiltonian system or reading Neo-Latin from the start. This can be done through the literal translations of Roman classics, followed by the original texts, or employing prolegomena and prefaces of books about matters of interest for the learners, as the one supplied below about the Arabic language. GUIDO ANGELINO. HOW TO TEACH AND TO LEARN LATIN

PRAGUE ANGELINO METHODO DOCENDI AC DISCENDI LINGVAM LATINAM

EX IV LIBELLO COMMENTARIORVM QVI LATINITAS INSCRIBVNTVR

MESS DEC. A. MCMLXXXXIX EDIT IN CIVITATE VATICAN

A die XXIV Aprilis a. 1998 us ad Kalendas Mayan, Habitat is in Silly Urbe Montella, located in the most widely known convalle, in Hirpina regione, Congressus internationalis cultorum latinitatis, sibi statuentium ut, interus uniuscuiusque comparative experience, decernerent quibus viis hodie possu in scholis fru; perpauca quoque disputata sunt of great method Graecae tradendae.

Fine up to the extent that it requires eruditione ornatae and practicis copiosae praeceptis fuerunt orations, nec defuerunt extra-european oratores; adherant praeterea hurts ab omni Europe region speakers until auditors.

Advocatus ad meam oration in habendam, orsus sum animadversione quam reor that magni ponderis quod attinet ad didacticam, Ciceronis, Sallustii, Livii, Taciti, ardua language, ample architectonic, interdum labyrinthica, which secretly falls under the pervadit music, exsurgit and a clausulis. Scriptor enim Latinus erat quidam strategus language, which intends until naviter elementa periodorum disponebat, ita ut sapientem and implement structure assequeretur.

Apt per image reddidit periodorum naturel latinae litterariae praeclarus philologus francogallicus Marouzeau; hoc mode, ille adfirmat, Latin periodus formatur: exsurgit arcus, chi cyto manet suspensus in aere; alius exsurgit, et ipse manens truncus, itidem inde alii; interdum aliquis ex illis suam invention basim et concluditur; cum autem periodus clauditur, before cumulum arcuum glasses are intersecantium habemus invoked, whereas in ordinary rectum the opportunity to use the omnium partium signification in patefaciant earum that nexus is available.

Unusquisque teacher and teacher have their own method, which for their curriculum effinxit and assidueis discipulis apt curavit, which methodus is all project and effusio eiusquee eiusque latinitatis amore. Per se I raise quaelibet methodus is worthy. At hic ego proponere velim methodum, which prinem soleo appellare (et hic mihi is vobis venia petenda propter superbiolam which in vocabulary "principals" inest), methodum that allows disciple non mode valeant languageam Latinam adhibere live, clean videlicet et pianam, sed interpret aliquantulum expedite pages Classicorum earumque pedetemptim, elegant illam and architectonicam structure percipere and degustare.

Ecce igitur quid sit magistro Latinac agendum:

ingredients in conclave scholasticum, iam the cousin praelectione incipiat callide miscere, from an elementary cousins notions offert language Latin, patriarchy language and Latinam (adhibens evidenter language Latinam planissimam and crystallinae evidentiae), initio vertens hic illic nonnulla tantumumum thereafter, atque ea clare pronuntians ac pluriens repetens, ita ut discipuli incipiant in suis mentibus cousin Latin vocabulary deponere, sic quoddam parvum lexicon Latinum, quod, labentibus hebdomadis et mensibus, gradatim locupletabituripsi, and exampleidem lens, Latine answers simplissibus Latin quaerere ex illo, and inter se cousins planissimos Latin conserere dialogues.

Cum autem illi aliquam competentiam activate asecuti erunt, id est opterate his cogitata Latin expressed, caute utique et lens, tunc ecce contactum, ut dicitur, cum Auctoribus incipient, the simplioribus ordientes. Et patriae and Latinae mixtium always erit usurpanda, sive in Auctorum praesentatione, sive in eorum paginis explicandis, sive in normis grammaticalibus enucleandis; labente autem tempore, Latin sense praevalebit et in classibus superioribus usus Latini vivi magis magisque dominabitur, itaque discipuli, ad Universitatem Studiorum accedentes, lucide expressions Who enim aliquam linguam live adhibeat, etsi quadam simplicitate, iam in intimate color eius penetravit and idcircum paratus ad summorum Auctorum pages eius language potiendas and penetrandas mura citius ac subtilius which language non per us, sed per abstract and normative schemata didicerint. Praeterea, isti academic students, lauream adepti, fieri poterunt magistri Latine vivae perfecte idonei, quippe loquentes Latine, ad usurpandam novam methodum cum futuris discipulis.

Even the method requires the teacher to teach ipse his cogitata expression Latin sciat, non prophet arduo sermone litterario, sed liquid colloquiali sermone. Did you see Magistros Latinae docuit language loqui Latine? Non utique Universitas Studiorum, tota in exquisita persequend philology. Ceterum, nonne magistri Latinae language sunt verissimo sensu lexica latin viventia? Tot enim sunt noun, additive, pronoun, adverb ..., which is ipsi per tot annos studii and curriculum didicerunt et arripuerunt; valent praeterea quodlibet verbum flectere at innumeros latine constructus cognoscunt.Ergo fieri potest ut loqui Latine nesciant? Et reapse hodie hurts nullus magister language Latin valet, neque audet, simplicity Latinam sermocinationem repair, cuiuus king ratio is simplex: which ipse in mind possidet, iacet in ea aggerata and simul confuse mixta, quasi dormitans. Sufficiet ergo quaedam ingenious exercise which illam amplify material expergefaciat et deglomeret eiusque singula elementa instruat velocitate, which is to be valeant before lie loquentis, and expression or pronuntiari.

Exstat reva eiusmodi exercise, which is very simple nec quidquam constat (and che non costa nulla), ad quam exercise in a defatigor, in Conventibus of Latin language, horticultural young people praesertim colleagues, utpote ad new new experiences.

Expose ergo when haec exercise sit

Magister in suo conclavi scriptorio deambulans, mind intends suos alloqui disciples, elata ac slow you and bene articulans money, tenens in promptu lexicon Latinum, if strong aliquod accidat vacuum, ut hodie dicimus, memory, incipiat simply regulate Latin exponere, Phaedri fabellam, aliquam aliquam shortly narratiunculam of quodam Auctore Latino, style autem planissimo and straight.

      Mihi liceat nonnulla exempla proferre:

Sic incipere potest magister: 'Vobis hodie explicabo notiones Subiecti et Obiecti. Inspicite has two propositions: "L'aquila improbably volò via - i cacciatori uccisero l'aquila". In the first proposition, this is what facit actum evolves, in the second proposition, venors faciunt action in necandi and aquila patitur actum necandi. In the autem, chi facit actum (chi fa l'azione), subiectum vocatur, chi subit, patitur actionem, obiectum vocatur. Ergo in priore propositione, Aquila is Subiectum, Secondly is Obiectum, and Venatores sunt Subiectum.

Never attend attendance (fate bene attenzione). Italian language facilitates discrimination, when attained by case (as far as case is concerned) between Subiectum and Obiectum: L'aquila volò via - i Cacciatori uccisero l'aquila. Contra (invece), Latin language distinguishing accurate and ponit Subiectum in casu Nominative, Obiectum in casu Accusative. Dicemus ergo: Aquila improvisation evolavit - Aquila necaverunt venatores.

There are cousins difficultas in quam incurrimus in Itali, cum incipimus discovers Latinam language. Ergo curate ut bene distinguishable in variis propositionibus quaenam sint personae res faciunt actionem (ergo erunt Subiecta and demanding casum Nominativum), ab illis quae subeunt, patiuntur actionem (quae ideo erunt Obiecta and demanding casum Accusativum.) »

Et ecce no magister possit exponere Latine fabellam Phaedri:

«Cervus cum bibisset ad fontem, restitit et vidit imagine its in aqua. In a miratur splended its cornua and vituperat tenuitatem crurum, improvisation audivit sonum cornuum venatorum (the term 'cornua' means asia 'le corna', asia 'i corni'). Tunc territories will coepit flee for silver, and agili cursu digressus is in canibus, and the valleys far off. If they come into this essence in dense hisses, the cornea brane coperuntary impedes eius cursum and sic canes potuerunt and a consequence and coeperunt illum dilacerare morsibus. Tunc moriens, dicitur murmured, "They have despised me, they have served me, and they have given me my death ad mortem."

Never brevis narrative of Livio, praeclarissimo Roman historical.

Narrat Plinius in Square Epistle to the Gaditanum (the Abbey of Gades, the Oggi Cadice) captures this magnificent admiration and historicum Romanum Livium. Ibi quaesivit ubi habitaret Livium et postquam illum vidit et cognovit, statim reversus is in Hispaniam, minimal curans contemplate magnitudinem Romae and ceteros praeclarissimos Romans cognoscere.

Post tresveias iam incipiet quadam securitate if Latin words, until tandem, post circiter decem dies, grateful obstupefactione captus ac quadam animi commotione sept Roman, Civem esta one who wanted his cogitata clare until pacate limpid Latin language expressions valeat.

Et incantamentum Latini I lived in a posthac illum relinquet simulque in and the desiderium coorietur efficiendi ut its quoque disciple hanc aim to experience participation queant.

If self-magister, idoneam adeptus competentiam activate Latine loquendi, novam hanc methodum live, from which to dissuade, in his class today usurpare cupiat, in non paucas incidet difficultates. When did Praeside license assequetur adhibendi methodum qua rerum scholasticarum statum tam audacter evertat? Quid opinabuntur collegae? Even praesertim ubinam tempus inventiet disciples usui vivo Latinae language initiandi? In the magistri cogimur praestituta studii programmata discipulis explainare eosque ad examina, ipsa quoque praedefinita, apparare. which abhinc decem circiter years can be Italicis legumlatoribus,

Attamen hodie quoque fas est magistris disciples use live language Latin initiate hoc, sit venia verb, strategemate fruentes: magister domi praelectionem exaret of argument apt ad discipulorum minds alliciendas integrate Latinam, regardless of perfecte memoriter absorbeat. Quodam autem die, discipulis nuntiet if illis praelectionem totam Latine prolatam oblaturum this, et inde, inter stuporem and silentium in class subcoort, lens ac sonore praelectionem incipiat. Cum autem inter erect aures and intents discipulorum minds, praelectionem expleverit, sonabit (expertus I refer) applausus until simul rogabunt disciple ut sibi aliis quoque vicibus aliae eiusmodi praelectiones grantantur

In this way, fiet Latin alive initiatio et in discipulorum animis excitabitur illecebra ac lepes methodi adducat ad intimate Latinae language, tandem illi sentient non iam almost mortuam, even against veluti sermonem lucidum et vividum, which sit praeterea optima ada accedendum, progressing tempore, ad implexam and architectonicam classicorum language, how illi non iam percipient ut abstruse Scripters antiquissimi aevi, sed veluti eiusdem amplissimae reipublicae Latinae concives.

Adnotetur vero us, Latini vivi fakers, minime negare momentum until efficaciam methodi tradi, quam Latin language ultimis duobus saeculis oblata is discord adulescentibus in scholis publicis, that methodus unice spectabat et unice iniitebatur imitation Classicorum subtitle adhibebturier, which analysis attinerent, et, am, attends locorum conversiones commentationesque summorum Auctorum. Quam enim ingen adulescentium numerus bis duobus saeculis to Latinitatis scholis exierunt uberrime parati ad analyzes ac syntheses mentibus exercises, idcirco optime apti multiply munera in civili societate obeunda,

Attamen, if our live methodus adhibeatur in Europae scholis, which in ipsius language Latinae live user fundetur, ex magis pervium et expeditius et levius Latinae language studium reddetur, et al. living exercise sit per se peculiarissinia and aptissima propaedeutica ad arduam and architectonicam summorum Auctorum linguam potiendam.

Neque est obliviscendum hunc ipsum sermonem Latinum colloquialem, labentibus annis, ab omibus nationibus Europe usurpari hold velut flexibile and planum instrumentum communicationis.

Nihil ergo aliud demum proponimus nisi ut utraque methodus quodamodo simul ingeniosis coalescant ad duplicate finem assequendum: hinc, ut discipuli celerius and uberius ab operibus ut istae uneasy and rixosae europee, per usum eiusdem translucidae communis, ad mutuate all.
